Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Security and trust have become core buying criteria in SaaS, and this Security Customer Success Engineer role sits directly on that boundary between product security and revenue outcomes. The remit spans pre sales and post sales engagements, translating Wrike’s security posture into customer confidence while coordinating closely with Sales, Customer Success, and the internal Security function. It is a clear example of how modern SaaS companies operationalise security as part of the customer journey, not only as an internal control.
For a SaaS career, the role builds durable leverage across multiple commercial motions that repeat in subscription businesses. Handling security questionnaires, RFPs, and stakeholder reviews develops fluency in the compliance narratives that enterprise SaaS buyers expect, while the feedback loop into Product and Security creates exposure to how roadmap, vulnerabilities, and customer requirements intersect. The emphasis on consistent responses using internal AI tools also reflects the direction of scale in SaaS enablement work.
This position tends to suit professionals who enjoy customer facing technical problem solving and can move between CISO level conversations and day to day deal support. It fits someone comfortable with prioritising parallel requests, documenting decisions, and improving processes across teams, particularly in cloud security and privacy focused environments.
