Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Senior Product Analyst role sits at the intersection of product decision making and data infrastructure, a combination that is increasingly central in SaaS where iteration cycles depend on measurable user outcomes. The remit spans metric selection, feature impact assessment, and experimentation, signalling a product-led environment where analytics is expected to shape what gets built and why, not just report performance after release.
For a SaaS career, the work builds durable leverage: translating behavioural data into product priorities, designing and interpreting A/B tests, and applying statistical thinking to real roadmap trade-offs. The emphasis on documentation and collaboration with data teams on data flows and product data marts also develops the operational side of analytics, the part that enables consistent self-serve insights across product, growth, and engineering functions.
This position tends to suit an analyst who prefers owning ambiguous questions end to end, from defining the metric to recommending a change and validating it. It also aligns with someone who enjoys partnering closely with product managers and data specialists, and who is motivated by improving usability and personalization through disciplined experimentation rather than intuition-led iteration.
