Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Senior Product Manager role sits at the intersection of modern SaaS infrastructure and the data platform ecosystem, focused on observability as a product rather than a supporting function. Observe by Snowflake operates in a category where usage-based economics, scale constraints, and enterprise reliability expectations shape day-to-day product decisions. The remit spans logs, metrics, traces, and data management, signalling a platform-style surface area that is common in developer-facing SaaS businesses.
For a SaaS product career, the role offers durable exposure to the mechanics of building and evolving a multi-tenant, high-throughput product where cost-efficiency and adoption are explicit outcomes. Work tied to open standards and integrations with a broader cloud platform maps well to how many SaaS companies differentiate today: through ecosystem fit, extensibility, and operational leverage. The emphasis on customer discovery and roadmap ownership also aligns with enterprise SaaS patterns where procurement, migration, and switching costs influence prioritization.
This position is best suited to product leaders who enjoy technical domains and can translate complex system behavior into clear product choices. It will fit someone comfortable balancing platform constraints with stakeholder alignment across engineering and go-to-market, and who wants to operate close to real production telemetry and reliability use cases.

Job Description
Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential — and people too. With a culture that’s all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology — and careers — to the next level.
Observe by Snowflake is an AI-powered observability platform built on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud and engineered for scale. We ingest and store logs, metrics, traces, and events on an open, scalable data lakehouse, using open formats like Apache Iceberg, at dramatically lower cost. A dynamic Context Graph and chat-based AI SRE provide rich context and automated workflows so teams can move from detection to root cause and resolution 10x faster.
Leading engineering teams at companies like Capital One, Topgolf, and Dialpad rely on Observe to troubleshoot hundreds of terabytes of telemetry daily while maintaining reliability at enterprise scale. As part of Snowflake, Observe combines startup-style ownership and velocity with the global reach, operational excellence, and ecosystem of one of the world’s leading data platforms.
About the Role
As a Senior Product Manager at Observe by Snowflake you will lead a cross-functional team to define and execute the product roadmap across core product areas -- Logs, Metrics, Traces, Data Management, AI and more. You will set strategy grounded in deep customer empathy, drive prioritization across competing enterprise demands, and shape a product processing thousands of TB/day of telemetry. This is a high visibility role where you will interact with internal and external stakeholders regularly and have the ability to shape the product’s direction
Responsibilities
Define and own the product roadmap for one or more areas; set strategy, prioritize ruthlessly, and deliver against adoption, migration, and cost-efficiency goals
Lead enterprise customer discovery to translate observability pain points into product requirements and drive product adoption
Partner with engineering, GTM, and Snowflake platform teams to execute quarterly plans and align on integration opportunities (Cortex AI, Iceberg, Snowflake Intelligence)
Represent product in high stakes situations to customers, partners, and leadership through crisp PRDs, specs, and strategy presentations
Drive 0-to-1 & 1-to-N Initiatives: Identify emerging patterns and turn them into scalable, GA-ready product offerings.
Requirements
6+ years of PM experience, with 3+ years on infrastructure, developer tools, or observability platforms
Deep familiarity with observability concepts (logs, metrics, traces, APM, alerts) and cloud-native architectures
Technical fluency in distributed systems, streaming ingest, and open standards (OpenTelemetry, Iceberg)
Proven track record shipping in competitive enterprise markets and displacing incumbents
Strong communicator who can align cross-functional teams and navigate the complexity of an acquisition integration
Familiarity with AI/ML and agentic workflows; can demonstrate use of AI tools in their day-to-day
Bonus points
Experience with or strong opinions on AI SRE, AIOps, or agentic observability workflows
Exposure to modern data ingestion, storage and retrieval systems including Kafka, SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing technologies.
Familiarity with the OpenTelemetry ecosystem and open-source community dynamics
Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
