About This Role
We’re looking for an experienced, strategic, and driven
Senior Tech Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Talent Acquisition team at DataSnipper. In this role, you’ll play a key role in driving hiring across our Product and Engineering functions, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to shape hiring strategy, build strong technical pipelines, and deliver a high-quality, candidate-centric recruitment experience.
You’ll own the full recruitment cycle for technical roles: from intake and market mapping to targeted sourcing, candidate assessment, process management, and offer negotiations. You’ll work closely with engineering and product leaders, acting as a trusted talent partner who deeply understands their hiring needs, challenges, and team ambitions.
This role requires someone who brings pace, structure, and sound judgment to a fast-moving environment. You’ll know how to balance multiple hiring priorities, influence stakeholders, and use data and AI tools to work efficiently and at scale.

What you will do
- Manage and execute the full recruitment lifecycle for technical roles across Product and Engineering - from intake to offer - delivering a fast, high-quality, and candidate-centric experience.
- Act as a trusted talent partner to hiring managers and senior engineering/product leaders, advising on hiring strategy, market insights, candidate calibration, and process effectiveness.
- Partner closely with stakeholders to define role requirements, align on success profiles, and drive efficient decision-making throughout the hiring process.
- Design and execute targeted sourcing strategies to build strong, diverse pipelines, leveraging Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, talent networks, market mapping, referrals, and community-based sourcing.
- Drive proactive outreach and headhunting to engage passive technical talent, using a compelling and personalised approach that reflects the DataSnipper brand.
- Conduct structured screening and assessment processes, providing clear, balanced, and data-informed recommendations to hiring teams.
- Manage complex offer negotiations, including structuring competitive packages, handling counteroffers, advising stakeholders, and closing senior technical candidates effectively.
- Contribute to the broader tech talent strategy in collaboration with the TA team and business stakeholders, including sourcing channels, interview frameworks, market insights, and hiring process improvements.
- Track and analyse recruitment metrics to identify bottlenecks, improve conversion rates, and provide regular updates and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Actively use AI tools throughout the recruitment workflow - from sourcing and outreach to candidate evaluation and process automation - to work efficiently and at scale.
What you bring
- 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a strong focus on technical recruitment across software engineering, product management, data, infrastructure, or related technical functions.
- A strong understanding of engineering disciplines and technical hiring markets - you can assess technical backgrounds credibly and have effective conversations with engineers, product leaders, and senior technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes for complex and business-critical technical roles in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with and influence senior hiring managers and leaders, providing clear guidance, market insights, and recommendations.
- Experience building and executing proactive sourcing strategies, including talent mapping, passive candidate engagement, and pipeline development for hard-to-fill roles.
- Strong experience managing offer negotiations and closing technical candidates, including senior-level candidates in competitive markets.
- Highly organised and structured in your approach - you’re able to manage multiple open roles and stakeholders simultaneously while maintaining quality, pace, and candidate experience.
- Adaptable and resilient - you adjust quickly to changing priorities and manage your workload effectively in a fast-moving environment.
- Data-driven approach to recruitment - you track the right metrics, identify trends, and use insights to continuously improve hiring outcomes.
- A proactive, can-do attitude - you take initiative, solve problems, and drive progress without waiting for perfect conditions.
- Experience working in a tech scale-up or high-growth SaaS environment is a strong plus.
