Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Associate Director, Managed Services role sits at the intersection of SaaS customer success and performance marketing execution, a common pattern in platforms that prove value through measurable outcomes. The focus on search advertising across major retail marketplaces signals a product-led environment where customer impact is tied to optimization cycles, data quality, and the ability to translate platform capabilities into commercial results for enterprise accounts.
For a SaaS career, the long-term value is in building fluency across three core areas: running outcome-based engagements, operating with analytics as a daily tool, and influencing product direction through customer feedback. Managing large budgets and tying work to client KPIs develops the kind of operational rigor that transfers across SaaS roles spanning customer success, solutions consulting, and revenue operations, particularly in companies selling into complex, multi-stakeholder organizations.
This role is best suited to professionals who prefer hands-on ownership of programs, not just relationship management, and who are comfortable moving between strategy, execution, and performance reporting. It will fit someone who enjoys working with enterprise stakeholders, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering, and treating renewals and retention as the byproduct of demonstrable business outcomes.
