Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Esper operates a DevOps SaaS platform focused on releasing applications and managing large fleets of Android devices, a corner of the SaaS ecosystem where reliability, security, and repeatable delivery processes directly shape customer outcomes. A Senior Technical Program Manager role in this context sits at the intersection of product engineering and operational execution, coordinating work that spans multiple functions and influences how the platform evolves as customer usage scales across industries.
For a SaaS career, the role builds durable leverage in areas that translate across product-led and platform-led businesses: shaping roadmaps into executable programs, improving delivery predictability, and defining measurable outcomes through KPIs and OKRs. The emphasis on scaling Agile frameworks and running end-to-end program lifecycles mirrors the operational maturity challenges many SaaS companies face as they expand teams, ship larger releases, and balance speed with quality and security.
This position fits professionals who prefer structured ownership over ambiguous problem spaces and who are comfortable partnering with senior stakeholders while staying close to technical decision-making. It will suit program leaders who enjoy building lightweight processes, unblocking cross-team dependencies, and maintaining clear reporting rhythms in environments where priorities evolve alongside the product and customer demands.
