Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Demand Gen and Media Buyer role sits at the intersection of performance marketing and partner-led acquisition, a core lever for B2B SaaS companies selling into complex, multi-stakeholder buying cycles. With Papaya Global operating in global payroll and payments, the remit signals a category where trust, credibility, and consistent pipeline creation matter, making media partnerships and influencer ecosystems more than brand activity.
For a SaaS marketer, the career value comes from owning measurable distribution rather than only campaign execution. Managing large-scale spend, negotiating with publishers and paid industry partners, and tying creative decisions to ROI builds muscle in the commercial side of SaaS marketing. The emphasis on AI-powered analytics tools and CRM workflows also reinforces transferable operating habits common in modern SaaS demand engines, where attribution, experimentation, and lifecycle alignment shape decisions.
This position is best suited to someone early in a SaaS demand generation path who prefers clear KPIs, iterative optimisation, and cross-functional coordination with creative and stakeholder teams. It will appeal to professionals who enjoy balancing relationship management with rigorous performance analysis, and who are comfortable taking ownership in a defined, fixed-term assignment.
