Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Enterprise Performance Management manager role sits at the intersection of SaaS delivery and finance operations, where EPM platforms like Anaplan, Workday, Oracle, and OneStream are often central to how subscription businesses plan, forecast, and report. For SaaS professionals, EPM is a high-leverage domain because it connects product-led growth realities to the finance and consolidation systems that leadership relies on for decisions and governance.
The career upside here is breadth across execution and operating cadence. Managing consultants while driving cross-functional initiatives builds transferable capability in stakeholder management, delivery oversight, and metric-driven improvement, all common in SaaS organizations that run multiple systems and integrations. Exposure to workflow optimization and compliance-oriented standards also maps well to SaaS environments where scale brings process maturity requirements.
This role tends to suit experienced leaders who enjoy coaching and performance management as much as solving operational problems. It will appeal to those who prefer structured delivery, clear measurement of outcomes, and coordinating across functions rather than owning a single specialist track. It also fits professionals who want to deepen SaaS-relevant finance systems knowledge without moving into pure FP&A.
