Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Revenue Systems Architect role sits at the intersection of core SaaS monetisation infrastructure and the emerging shift toward AI-assisted go-to-market operations. The remit spans Salesforce, CPQ, billing integrations, and data governance, but the differentiator is the explicit expectation to redesign workflows with AI agents as a primary building block rather than a later enhancement. In SaaS terms, it is a modern take on revenue operations engineering where system design choices directly shape pipeline quality, quote accuracy, and downstream financial integrity.
For a SaaS career, the long-term value is exposure to the full revenue lifecycle as a connected system, from lead handling through quoting and billing, with accountability for reliability and auditability. The role also develops a transferable skill set around automating GTM work, establishing data standards, and shipping production-grade integrations that withstand organisational change. Experience translating strategy into technical specifications across Sales, Finance, Engineering, and Security maps closely to how mature SaaS companies scale operational leverage.
This position best fits an experienced Salesforce architect who still prefers hands-on delivery, but wants broader influence over how revenue systems evolve. It suits someone comfortable challenging legacy process, documenting decisions, and balancing stakeholder needs while keeping production systems stable. Remote setup and cross-functional partnering indicate a role for self-directed operators who can drive clarity across distributed teams.

Job Description
We’re looking for someone who has already built complex Salesforce and CPQ systems—and is now asking what those systems look like when AI does half the work. If you approach every new build with AI as a starting point, not an add-on, you’ll feel at home here. This role is an individual contributor with influence and needs to have done the hard technical work—architecting Salesforce, owning integrations, scaling GTM systems—and is ready to rethink it all for an AI-first world.
Let's talk about what you'll do:
Own the architecture and evolution of our revenue systems stack, including Salesforce Sales Cloud, a modern CPQ solution, and billing integrations
Lead complex configuration and development across Apex, Lightning Web Components, and custom integrations
Oversee data governance, migration strategy, and system integrity across the full GTM stack
Build and deploy AI agents for account research, CRM hygiene, post-call follow-ups, and signal-based outbound workflows
Automate repetitive work across the GTM org and replace it with intelligent, auditable processes
Partner with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, and Security to translate strategy into technical specifications
Represent systems decisions directly with Finance and cross-functional leadership on data integrity and sign-off
Challenge existing processes. If something exists because it was the only option three years ago, ask whether it should still exist today
Own documentation so the organization can move without you in every room
Let’s talk about what you need to excel:
7+ years in the Salesforce ecosystem with at least 2 years in an architect-level role
Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ implementation, customization, and production support
Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, REST/SOAP API integrations, and middleware patterns
Proven experience deploying AI agents or AI-assisted workflows in a GTM context, shipped to production not just explored
Hands-on experience with Clay or comparable enrichment and automation platforms
Strong track record working across GTM, Finance, Engineering, and Security stakeholders, able to translate technical decisions into business language and hold your own in any room
Background at a high-growth B2B SaaS company that has gone through a GTM systems transformation
Experience replacing or restructuring legacy systems while keeping the business running
A clear point of view on where AI replaces human judgment in GTM workflows and where it does not, and the ability to defend it
Demonstrated ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver in a fast-moving environment
A list of job experiences and qualification requirements is great, but humility, a performance-driven attitude, and a team-player approach are most important to us. We love to have fun and win in the process. We only hire people who have a passion for building great companies in an environment where a sense of humor is a must.
Occasional travel may be required.
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
