Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Executive Assistant role stands out in the SaaS ecosystem because it sits at the operating core of a modern, AI-native technology company where commercial execution and leadership cadence matter. Supporting a President with oversight across go-to-market, operations, and finance creates a vantage point that mirrors how many scaling SaaS businesses run, even when the product category extends beyond pure software. The hybrid, on-site component also signals work that is closely tied to real-world delivery and customer-facing activity rather than being purely desk-based.
For a SaaS career, the value is in learning how senior leaders allocate time, drive cross-functional alignment, and translate priorities into repeatable operating rhythms. Exposure to board materials, sales reviews, and partner and customer interactions builds durable context on how SaaS-style revenue teams communicate and how decisions move from strategy to execution. The emphasis on documentation, follow-through, and stakeholder coordination maps well to operational roles common in SaaS, including business operations and revenue operations.
This position fits someone who prefers structured systems, high discretion, and proactive problem solving, and who enjoys being the connective tissue across teams. It will resonate with professionals who want proximity to leadership decisions and are comfortable working with partial information while keeping day-to-day execution reliable.

Job Description
About Standard Bots
Standard Bots is building the next generation of industrial robots -- hardware that's powerful, affordable, and designed to scale. We're the largest U.S. AI-native industrial robotics company, trusted by organizations ranging from independent machine shops to NASA and Lockheed Martin, and we're moving fast. This role is central to that.
Note: This role is hybrid, with three days per week on-site at our Glen Cove, NY manufacturing facility.
The Role
We're looking for an Executive Assistant to serve as the right hand to our President, who oversees the entire organization -- sales, applications engineering, go-to-market, marketing, operations, finance, HR, etc. This is a high-trust, high-visibility role at the center of how our President operates day-to-day.
You'll manage scheduling, keep communications organized, track follow-ups, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks across a fast-moving start-up company. When on-site at our Glen Cove facility, you'll also help with light office coordination -- greeting visitors, supporting team events, and keeping things running smoothly on the floor.
This is a role for someone who is proactive by nature, comfortable operating with partial information, and takes genuine pride in making a busy executive more effective.
What You'll Do
Executive Support
- Manage the President's calendar, scheduling, and travel logistics -- prioritizing ruthlessly and protecting time for what matters most
- Prepare agendas, briefing materials, and presentations for internal and external meetings
- Track action items and follow-ups from meetings, ensuring nothing slips
- Coordinate internal and external meetings with customers, partners, investors, and cross-functional leadership
- Help draft and organize communications on behalf of the President when needed
Coordination & Execution
- Keep documents, presentations, and meeting notes organized and accessible
- Track deadlines and commitments across the commercial org involving the President
- Help coordinate cross-functional meetings and leadership discussions
- Support preparation for board meetings, offsites, sales reviews, and company events
Office Coordination (When On-Site)
- Greet guests and coordinate visitor logistics at our Glen Cove facility
- Assist with team lunches, leadership meetings, and small on-site events
- Help maintain a welcoming and organized office environment
- Handle light office supply and logistics needs
What We're Looking For
- 3-7 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or in an operations coordination role -- supporting a senior executive in a fast-moving environment
- Highly organized and detail-oriented -- you track everything, miss nothing, and keep systems that others can rely on
- Strong written communication -- clear, professional, and appropriately calibrated for external audiences including customers and partners
- High level of discretion and reliability -- you handle sensitive information without it going further
- Comfortable managing multiple shifting priorities at once without losing composure
- Proactive rather than reactive -- you anticipate needs, flag issues early, and solve problems independently before escalating
- Comfortable in a startup environment where the playbook changes and ambiguity is the norm
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting a sales, GTM, or commercial leader specifically
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) or project management platforms
- Exposure to a manufacturing, hardware, or industrial technology environment
- Interest in robotics, automation, or deep tech
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $180,000, depending on experience. Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at Standard Bots. All Full-Time Employees are eligible for Employee Stock Options. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.
