Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This GTM Recruiter role stands out in the SaaS ecosystem because it sits at the intersection of product category creation and revenue execution. Factory operates in an AI developer tooling context, where go to market teams often need to translate technical value into enterprise buying motions. A founding recruiter focused on GTM functions becomes a leverage point for how quickly and coherently the commercial organization takes shape.
For a SaaS career, the long-term value here is exposure to the full revenue org surface area, spanning Sales, Solutions and Field Engineering, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Revenue Operations. That breadth builds durable pattern recognition around what “good” looks like across the funnel, how hiring decisions affect pipeline and retention, and how recruiting operations evolve when priorities shift. The emphasis on market intelligence, calibration, and process design also maps well to later roles in talent leadership or broader people operations within SaaS.
This role fits someone who prefers high ownership work, is comfortable advising senior stakeholders, and enjoys balancing judgment with measurable process. It will resonate with recruiters who like proactive sourcing and who take satisfaction in building repeatable hiring systems, not only filling requisitions.

Job Description
About us: Factory is one of the fastest growing startups in the world. We build autonomous AI software engineering agents ("Droids") that automate complex development tasks like code reviews, testing, and deployment. By integrating deeply into enterprise workflows, it allows engineering teams to ship secure code faster while seamlessly switching between the world's best AI models.
The Role: As our founding GTM Recruiter, you will be responsible for building and scaling the teams that generate Factory’s growth, including Sales, Field Engineering, Customer Success, Partnerships, Revenue Operations, and GTM Leadership. You will partner directly with leaders to define talent strategy, shape org design, calibrate hiring bars, and attract exceptional talent.
This is a highly visible role with significant ownership and influence. You will be expected to think like a business leader, challenge assumptions, bring market intelligence to the table, and help us make some of the most important decisions in the company: who we hire and how we scale.
Our talent team is expected to be trusted advisors, exceptional operators, and relentless talent evaluators who care deeply about quality, speed, and candidate experience.
What you’ll do
• Partner directly with GTM leaders to understand business goals, hiring priorities, and organizational needs.
• Act as a strategic talent advisor, helping leaders define roles, build teams, and make informed hiring decisions.
• Own the end-to-end recruiting process from kickoff through close, driving urgency and excellence at every stage.
• Build and execute talent strategies for critical and high-impact searches across the GTM organization.
• Identify, engage, and close exceptional talent through proactive outreach, referrals, networking, and relationship building.
• Maintain an exceptionally high hiring bar and serve as a trusted voice in talent assessment and calibration discussions.
• Bring market insights, competitive intelligence, and talent trends to leaders to inform hiring strategy and workforce planning.
• Drive an outstanding candidate experience while upholding Factory's values and culture.
• Partner with hiring managers to continuously improve interview design, hiring rigor, and selection processes.
• Influence offer strategy, negotiation, and close plans for top candidates.
• Leverage data and recruiting metrics to identify bottlenecks, improve efficiency, and drive better hiring outcomes.
• Help build scalable recruiting programs, processes, and best practices as we continue to grow.
You may be a fit if
• 4+ years of recruiting experience, ideally within high-growth technology companies.
• Experience hiring GTM talent across Sales, Field Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Partnerships, Revenue Operations, or GTM Leadership.
• Proven ability to operate as a strategic partner to executives and hiring managers.
• Strong sourcing and talent mapping skills with a track record of identifying and engaging top-tier talent.
• Exceptional assessment skills and strong judgment around talent, hiring, and team building.
• Excellent communication and influence skills, with the ability to challenge, advise, and build trust with senior stakeholders.
• Strong operational rigor and ability to manage multiple high-priority searches simultaneously.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to use insights and metrics to improve outcomes.
• Demonstrated success closing highly competitive candidates.
• High agency, strong ownership mentality, and a bias toward action.
• Excitement about AI, developer tools, and helping build one of the most important companies in software.
