Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Principal Product Manager role stands out because it sits at the platform layer of a mature, AI-native SaaS security business, where internal developer experience is a first-class product surface. Building the Charlotte AI Platform means shaping shared capabilities that other product teams depend on, which is a distinct kind of SaaS product work compared with owning a single feature area or module.
For a SaaS career, platform PM experience is durable: it develops instincts around multi-tenant scale, reliability, cost and performance tradeoffs, and API and tooling design where “developers as customers” drive adoption. The remit also reflects how SaaS companies are operationalising GenAI, moving from isolated experiments to reusable services, evaluations, and governance patterns that can be applied across a product portfolio.
This role is best suited to product leaders who prefer influence through standards, primitives, and enablement rather than direct ownership of a single end-user workflow. It will fit someone comfortable translating diverse internal use cases into a coherent roadmap, and communicating decisions across engineering, data science, and multiple product lines while keeping delivery grounded in measurable platform outcomes.

CrowdStrike was founded in 2011 to fix a fundamental problem: The sophisticated attacks that were forcing the world’s leading businesses into the headlines could not be solved with existing malware-based defenses. Founder George Kurtz realized that a brand new approach was needed — one that combines the most advanced endpoint protection with expert intelligence to pinpoint the adversaries perpetrating the attacks, not just the malware. There’s much more to the story of how Falcon has redefined endpoint protection but there’s only one thing to remember about CrowdStrike: We stop breaches.
