Genesys is looking for an HRIS Analyst who will help support our Workday environment.
In this role you will be providing support to the HRIS Team and its customers by undertaking general system and data maintenance activities across a wide range of Workday system functionality.
What you’ll do in this role:
- Using a service ticketing system, you will troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working closely with HRIS colleagues, IT, and end users
- Monitor and maintain data integrity, including performing audits and resolving discrepancies
- Manage confidentiality of data by following established security/confidentiality standards
- Ensure configured processes and integrations are followed to maintain the integrity of employee data across HR systems and across the business
- Interface with HRIS and IT personnel on system projects and initiatives and coordinate with HRIS team management
- Prepare and conduct testing for implementing new functionality and enhancements; collaborating with stakeholders to review and develop test specifications
- Participate in the planning and testing of regular system upgrades and patches
- Assist in creating procedural documentation, including training materials or process documentation
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Two+ years of prior experience working in an HR Systems role preferably with knowledge of Workday HCM
- Excellent office systems skills particularly MS Excel
- Data Analysis / reporting skills would be advantageous
- Experience of working for a global company and familiarity with a wide range of differing cultural and legislative requirements
- An understanding of SOX compliance and audit requirements related to HRIS functions
- Proven ability to learn on the fly and maintain composure in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Strong team orientation and collaborative style
- Excellent process management, planning, and organizational skills
- Resilient, and determined to ensure projects and deliverables are achieved
- A commitment to excellence, and attention to detail
- Excellent English, oral and written communication skills
- An understanding of human resources business processes
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally; to uphold confidentiality and manage sensitive situations with tact
- Ability to work independently with general direction
- Possess a proactive enthusiasm for solving problems and adding value to the company
- Flexibility regarding regular working patterns to ensure support is provided to the Global HRIS Team in different time zones
