About RunReveal
RunReveal was founded after Evan Johnson and Alan Braithwaite (former Cloudflare and Segment) realized that even the most advanced security teams were struggling to detect basic attacks. The problem is that security orgs have so much data that companies struggle to build the detections they need, manage their data, and hunt for signals that indicate a compromise has happened.
RunReveal is built for massive amounts of data and will manage the collection of your security logs from your cloud and SaaS providers. RunReveal will automatically start looking for the signals of compromise and correlate those signals across all of your multiple log streams. RunReveal only takes minutes to set up and will make all of your logs available for search during investigations, building your own custom alerts, and building custom dashboards.
What you’ll do
We’re looking for a technical generalist with strong customer instincts to lead our pre- and post-sales efforts. You’ll be the first hire focused on technical customer engagement—helping potential customers understand how RunReveal fits into their security stack, onboarding new users, and ensuring they’re successful.
This is a hybrid role that combines sales engineering, implementation, customer success, and support. You’ll work directly with customers and collaborate closely with our sales, product, and engineering teams. If you’ve done integration work, enjoy working directly with users, and like rolling up your sleeves to troubleshoot real-world problems, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
Partner with sales on demos, proofs of concept, and technical evaluations
Onboard new customers and help them integrate RunReveal into their environment
Work across a variety of systems (cloud, on-prem, hybrid) to get log pipelines flowing
Support customers post-sale with architecture guidance and troubleshooting (via Slack, etc)
Share customer feedback and pain points with product and engineering
Build internal tools, write documentation, and help scale the customer-facing function
Who you are
You’ve worked in roles like Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, TAM, or DevOps with customer-facing work
You can speak the language of security teams and infrastructure engineers
You’re comfortable navigating unknown environments and debugging integrations
You care about building a great customer experience
You’re curious, resourceful, and comfortable being the first in a function
Nice to have
Experience with SIEMs, detection platforms, or log management
Familiarity with tools like Fluent Bit, Logstash, Splunk
Experience writing SQL and using Database technologies like ClickHouse or Snowflake
Exposure to security operations or working with SOC teams
We’re a small team building for scale. You’ll have autonomy, real ownership, and the opportunity to shape how technical customer engagement works at RunReveal.
