About the Role
As the Enterprise Product Manager for Core Financials, you’ll be a critical partner to the accounting team, ensuring the General Ledger’s (GL) accuracy, timeliness, and integrity across monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycles. You’ll work cross-functionally and own Oracle Fusion Financials configuration and support, resolve close-impacting issues, and drive enhancements that streamline workflows and improve reporting reliability.
This role demands hands-on Oracle Fusion expertise (especially in GL, Subledger Accounting, and Financial Reporting Center modules), a strong understanding of accounting workflows, a sharp eye for financial process optimization, and the ability to translate system behavior into actionable insights for the business.
This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.
In this role, you will:
Serve as the Oracle Fusion close and consolidation application administrator and subject matter expert.
Address complex issues within Oracle Fusion, particularly those impacting the General Ledger and close processes.
Be a key partner to Accounting during monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycles.
Monitor and apply emerging trends in finance systems, with a focus on Oracle Fusion capabilities.
Support the development and delivery of scalable solutions that improve financial operations and reporting accuracy.
Stay current on best practices in systems training, support models, and user enablement techniques.
Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities for automation and optimization within financial workflows, including leveraging AI capabilities.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
6+ years in financial systems or ERP support, with 2+ years in Oracle Fusion.
A strong understanding of accounting processes and a passion for streamlining business processes.
Experience partnering with Accounting or Controllership teams on systems issues and reporting improvements.
Familiarity with subledger-to-GL data flows, business process configurations, and Oracle Fusion best practices.
The ability to translate complex system behavior into actionable insights for Accounting stakeholders.
Comfort navigating Oracle Fusion configuration and supporting user requests related to chart of accounts, journal entries, and financial reports.
A collaborative working style and strong communications skills across diverse stakeholders (i.e. Accounting, IT, and Systems teams).
A proactive mindset and interest in applying AI to streamline finance operations.
A curiosity for finance technology and stay current on new features, updates, and best practices in ERP and close optimization.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
