Job Title: Associate Mobile Software Engineer
Department & Team: Digital Mobile SDK Team
Reports to: Monika Tamasi
Location: Budapest, Hungary
Summary:
As an Associate Mobile Software Engineer at Genesys, you’ll help expand our mobile SDK’s capabilities. We are seeking a software engineer with strong programming skills. Working in a highly collaborative and agile environment. Genesys Software Engineers think through implementation details of scalability, security and usability.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA and PM, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Develop efficient, resilient, and secure SDKs deployed on millions of devices worldwide.
Create, test, debug, review, and release advanced features for applications and SDKs, prioritizing clean and testable code.
Implement and maintain CI/CD processes to ensure efficient development workflows.
Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases.
Good understanding of OO and multithreaded programming
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Git flow, and Bitbucket is advantageous.
Knowledge and experience with SDK development is a plus.
Requirements:
Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Possess strong programming skills in Kotlin, with Kotlin Multiplatform development as a significant advantage.
Have familiarity with mobile application development for Android platforms (iOS knowledge is a plus).
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
Understand software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
Have experience working with remote data via WS and REST, and knowledge of testing methodologies.
