Genesys is hiring Enterprise Sales professionals in Germany. Our Account Executives are key drivers of growth and success at Genesys, responsible for managing and expanding sales opportunities across a various industries and customer segments.
Role Overview
Drive revenue growth and secure new business. Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to post-sales support.
As an Account Executive you will drive growth by identifying and acquiring new customers. You will take full ownership of prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities, working with cutting-edge CX solutions. Collaborating with your sales team and coach, you will develop consultative selling skills and contribute directly to the company's success by expanding Genesys’ footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively hunt and secure new logos across diverse industry sectors
- Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients to understand their business needs
- Lead complex, consultative sales cycles with a focus on customer experience technology
- Develop account and opportunity plans leveraging MEDDPICC or similar methodologies
- Generate a robust sales pipeline through consistent outbound prospecting and outreach
- Coordinate with internal teams (Professional Services, Customer Success, Technical Account Management, Renewals) to ensure smooth transition and customer onboarding
- Take ownership of sales targets and consistently achieve or exceed quota
Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Success in selling Cloud/Digital products.
- 5+ years experience in selling complex SaaS solutions (Customer Engagement (CX) experience is not a necessity but is considered valuable).
- Experience with MEDDPICC.
- Strong business acumen, communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
- Proven sales record.
- Experience within AWS, Salesforce, and ServiceNow ecosystems are advantageous.
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to perform well under pressure.
- Confident presentation and communication skills.
- Fluent German and English.
