About the Role
As Genesys accelerates growth across Central Europe, we are seeking a dynamic, commercially minded Regional Marketing Manager to lead our go-to-market efforts in Germany, Switzerland, and the Alpine region. This high-impact role will combine strategic marketing execution, deep regional expertise, and account-based engagement to fuel pipeline growth, deepen customer relationships, and accelerate conversions in priority enterprise and strategic segments.
You will be a key regional leader within our EMEA marketing team, working closely with sales, Business Development Manager, partnerships and customer success teams to deliver precision-targeted campaigns and experiences that directly support aggressive bookings and revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute a comprehensive regional marketing plan aligned with commercial goals, focusing on target industries, personas and named accounts across the Central region.
- Lead demand generation campaigns that resonate with regional decision-makers.
- Partner with regional sales leadership to build quarterly growth plans using data, insights and field intelligence.
Account-Based Engagement (ABE)
- Champion the Genesys ABE methodology to drive personalised experiences across the buyer journey for strategic accounts.
- Deploy 1:1, 1:few, and 1:many account engagement strategies using insights, intent data and sales input to orchestrate multi-touch campaigns.
- Collaborate with regional ABE teams to localise strategies and share success models across the region.
Integrated Campaigns & Field Execution
- Run integrated field campaigns using a blend of digital, events, webinars, partner activations and executive programs.
- Ensure marketing content and messaging is tailored for German-speaking audiences, reflecting local market nuances.
- Partner with global and EMEA campaign owners to adapt programs for the local funnel while maintaining consistency with brand and strategic themes.
Performance & Optimisation
- Use marketing performance tools (Eloqua, 6sense, Tableau, SFDC) to measure, report and optimise campaign ROI, pipeline influence and bookings impact.
- Identify gaps in marketing contribution and proactively evolve tactics to close them.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a regional liaison between field marketing and key internal stakeholders: Sales, BDRs, Customer Success and Partner Teams.
- Align marketing execution with partner ecosystem opportunities in the region.
- Manage a direct report responsible for in-market support and execution (events, digital, webinar ops).
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in B2B regional marketing or field marketing, ideally in SaaS or technology sectors.
- Demonstrated success in account-based marketing or engagement, with a results-driven mindset and commercial acumen.
- Fluent in German and English (written and verbal).
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with virtual, global teams while independently owning regional results.
- Skilled in marketing automation, CRM, and campaign tracking tools (e.g., Eloqua, 6sense, Lusha, SFDC).
- Experience managing marketing budgets and external vendors.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
