Summary
OneStream is searching for a Senior HRIS Analyst to join our People Operations team. The Senior HRIS Analyst is a key contributor in developing our HR technology and analytics objectives, strategy and roadmap in a high-growth, global environment. This role will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation and support of HR systems and analytics, with the goal of leveraging technology and adopting best practices from benchmark companies to improve overall HR efficiency and customer experience. The ideal person for this role is not only passionate about data, reporting and analytics, but also someone who strives to use that information to provide strategic insight and value across our entire global organization. This role is both strategic and tactical, with a focus on innovation, efficiency, simplicity, and ease of use for system administrators, leaders, and employees.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute to the vision and strategy for the future state of people analytics at OneStream, ensuring strong alignment with business objectives and practical application.
- Cultivate trusting relationships with the HR team and other cross-functional leaders that enable the successful delivery of accurate and insightful reports, dashboards, and analytics.
- Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of custom HRIS reports and dashboards, including but not limited to: headcount, diversity, attrition, performance, compensation, benefits, leaves and other people-team metrics.
- Maintain accurate people data in our HR systems.
- Prepare necessary data for all people-related events and support additional ad-hoc, perform regular data integrity audits to guarantee accuracy of all People-related reports, dashboards, and analytics, including ensuring the alignment with internal and external retention and compliance requirements.
- Empower business leaders to access meaningful real-time data through appropriate and sustainable security protocols.
- Set the bar for analysis and measurement of people-related data at OneStream and be the subject matter expert for detailed reporting and mentor others on producing strategy and vision from data sets.
- Serve as a steward of user experience for HR's systems; monitor system adoption and user feedback; develop processes, tools, support materials and training.
- Research and troubleshoot system issues; analyze support ticket trends and work with vendor to manage open cases, recommend system improvements or enhancements.
- Act as a liaison between HR, IT, Benefits, Payroll, and external vendors to ensure alignment and data consistency.
- Lead or support HRIS projects including vendor files, module rollouts, and cross-functional integrations by developing project plans, documenting requirements, and collaborating with IT and third-party vendors to build, test, and implement system interfaces (APIs, SFTP, integration files).
- Partner with HR stakeholders to analyze current workflows and recommend system-driven solutions that streamline processes, reduce manual effort, improve compliance, and enhance the overall employee experience.
- Other ad hoc duties, as assigned by leadership.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
- 8+years in a HR systems and analytics role.
- Working experience with UKG (formerly UltiPro) preferred.
- Skilled at Cognos reporting, system design and process improvement.
- Excellent with Microsoft Excel; including advanced formulas and functions.
- Excellent written communication, verbal communication, data visualization and presentation skills.
- Prior experience supporting a virtual workforce.
- Preference for specialized training in staff management and relations, organizational development and planning, safety and wellness programs, training, and/or HR-related legal and regulatory details.

- Demonstrated expertise in effective change management methods.
- Applied knowledge of local, state, and federal labor/EEO laws. Thorough understanding and hands-on application of internal and external HR principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
- Proficient in software applications such as Microsoft Suite.
