Position Overview:
We are seeking a Creative Director to lead and develop Intellect’s brand vision across all digital and visual channels. This role combines strategic brand leadership with hands-on design and creative development, ensuring that all creative output aligns with the company’s business objectives, marketing campaigns, and overall brand identity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creative direction, design, and production of all brand, marketing, tradeshow event booths, printed sell sheets, and digital assets, including websites, landing pages, email campaigns, social media graphics, event materials, and video development for social channels, such as YouTube.
- Champion of Excellence - ensures all creative work aligns with core brand and demand generation strategy, as well as campaign objectives, championing design excellence and conceptual consistency.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all marketing and communication materials.
- Collaborate with internal marketing team and third-party website agency to translate strategic goals into compelling visual narratives.
- Design, build, and maintain digital assets within HubSpot CMS, ensuring responsive, optimized, and visually engaging experiences.
- Work with third-party creative and digital agencies as needed while maintaining creative and brand standards.
- Oversee creative workflows, timelines, and priorities to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Provide creative leadership, mentorship, and feedback to ensure continuous improvement of design quality and brand impact.
- Research industry trends, competitive design approaches, and emerging technologies to keep Intellect’s creative direction innovative and relevant.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Fine Arts or related field. (Master’s degree preferred.)
- Experience: Minimum 10 years as a Creative Director in a technology or SaaS company, managing creative strategy and execution building global brands.
- Strong portfolio showcasing B2B and digital-first creative work, including brand identity, brand development, digital design, tradeshow booth development, video content, video development, and multi-channel campaign execution and integration.
- Expertise in video production, editing, and visual storytelling (e.g. Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with content management systems (preferably Craft CMS) for managing website content and creative assets. Proficiency with HTML/CSS for landing pages is a plus.
- Proficiency with HubSpot CRM and marketing automation tools for campaign integration and performance tracking.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and modern collaboration tools.
- Proven experience creating assets for email marketing, social media, web, digital advertising, and corporate communications.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX, design digital systems, visual hierarchy, responsive design and web optimization best practices.
- Experience with A/B testing and other methods for measuring creative effectiveness.
- Exceptional attention to detail, leadership, communication, project management, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of creative analytics, brand storytelling, and data-driven marketing.
- Experience working within a marketing department and/or creative agency, managing cross-functional initiatives and integrated campaigns.
- Ability to thrive doing hands-on design execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Works well in cross-team environment and believes in the “Yes” positive culture.
