About the Role
We’re looking for an Associate to join our Messaging Strategy & Operations team, supporting both Sender Operations and Deliverability functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of process excellence, technical problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring Attentive’s messaging ecosystem runs smoothly. This includes managing phone number provisioning and configuration to ensure high deliverability performance.
You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams, as well as our external messaging partners, to identify and resolve issues, improve systems, and help scale the operational backbone that powers Attentive’s messaging platform.

What You’ll Accomplish- Manage and execute phone number applications, configurations, and migrations in a timely and accurate manner using internal tools and partner portals
- Maintain messaging program compliance by leading carrier audits, troubleshooting spam blocks, and liaising with regulatory partners on broader industry trends
- Track and troubleshoot phone number lifecycle issues across multiple channels (e.g., Toll-Free, Short Code, RCS)
- Investigate and resolve messaging or deliverability incidents using Looker, Datadog, and internal dashboards
- Monitor and maintain dashboards that visualize messaging throughput, error codes, and send health across partners
- Implement process improvements that increase efficiency, reliability, and scalability across both Sender Ops and Deliverability
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for messaging partners and aggregators, communicating clearly on application status, deliverability investigations, and operational updates
- Support testing and rollout of new partner connections, automations, or tooling enhancements.
- Identify patterns in message performance data and escalate potential deliverability risks before they impact customers
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering on initiatives that minimize data inconsistencies, improve internal tooling, and automate phone number provisioning & deliverability analytics
- Support cross-team initiatives such as RCS partner testing, throughput scaling, and BFCM readiness
Your Expertise- Excellent data analysis skills and proven track record building internal workflows using Zapier, Looker, Datadog, Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) - this includes being comfortable communicating at all levels: leadership, internal, and external
- Experience working directly with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues using log level information, querying databases, or similar
- Comfortable completing projects requiring individual initiative and flexibility in tight time frames with minimal supervision
- Professional experience in the SMS and/or Email Deliverability space is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Technology Management, Information Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Must have 1 year of professional experience conducting data analytics within the technology industry in an operationally focused role
- 1 year of professional experience partnering with internal teams (including Sales & Finance, Product, or Engineering teams)
- Preferably located on the East Coast

- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 - $115,000 annually+ equity + benefits
- Equity is a substantial part of the total compensation package
