We’re currently looking for a driven, analytical, and people-first People Operations Generalist to join our team in Munich!
The Role:
As a People Operations Generalist, you’ll own day-to-day People Operations for Germany while also supporting employees across the UK, US, and EoR locations.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail, a data-oriented mindset, and a desire to grow into a broader, multi-region People Ops career. Working closely with our Director of People Operations & Talent Acquisition, you’ll help shape a consistent, compliant and high-quality employee experience.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate monthly German payroll inputs, ensuring accuracy through careful checks and clear documentation
- Support benefits administration and maintain precise records across all platforms and providers
- Apply your understanding of German labour law to ensure compliance across HR processes
- Manage operations at all stages of the employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate and consistent execution while proactively identifying opportunities to enhance People Ops processes.
- Maintain clean, reliable HRIS data; proactively identify gaps, errors, or opportunities to streamline
- Provide structured and thoughtful People Ops support for employees across Germany, the UK, US, and EoR countries
- Collaborate with global partners on payroll, benefits, and People Ops alignment
- Support culture and engagement activities for the Munich hub
- Own light office management tasks with operational excellence and strong organisational habits
What you will bring:
- 2–4+ years of HR/People Ops experience in Germany
- Strong understanding of German payroll processes, benefits, and statutory requirements
- Working knowledge of German labour law
- Fluent German (C1+) and strong English communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail — you spot inconsistencies, errors, or missing info quickly
- Analytical thinker who can interpret data, identify themes, and improve processes
- Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills
- A growth mindset — eager to develop into a broader, cross-regional People Ops role
- A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work onsite in our Munich hub several days per week
Bonus Points:
- Experience supporting teams across multiple countries (UK, US, or EoR models)
- Strong HRIS or systems experience; comfortable navigating data and/or spreadsheets
- Prior exposure to office management or workplace operations
- Passion for process improvement, documentation, standardisation
