### Why this Role is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
While the title sits in manufacturing operations, this role is notable for SaaS-minded professionals because it reflects how modern product companies increasingly blend software with complex physical supply chains. The work touches the operational backbone that supports technology-led businesses—where reliable inputs, traceability, and process discipline are essential to shipping and iterating on a product.
For a long-term SaaS career, the transferable value is in developing systems thinking around quality, data capture, and cross-functional coordination. Experience documenting exceptions, working within inventory/quality tools (ERP/MRP/QMS), and partnering with engineering and supply chain teams maps well to operational roles common in SaaS environments, from RevOps and BizOps to implementation and technical operations—especially where process and measurement drive outcomes.

As we scale production, we’re looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Receiving Inspector to help ensure every component that enters our facility meets the highest quality standards.
Role Overview
As an entry-level Receiving Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting, verifying, and documenting incoming materials, components, and assemblies used in our robotic systems. You’ll work closely with our supply chain, hardware engineering, and manufacturing teams to make sure we only accept parts that meet specification. This is a hands-on role well-suited for someone who is organized, quality-focused, and excited to help build complex hardware from the ground up.

Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and go/no-go gauges to assess part dimensions and functionality (training provided).
Identify, tag, and document non-conforming material; assist with initiating NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
Record inspection results in inventory and quality systems (ERP/MRP/QMS).
Collaborate with supply chain, hardware engineering, and manufacturing to resolve incoming quality issues.
Maintain a clean, organized receiving and inspection workspace.
Support cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and general warehouse operations as needed.

Ability to lift up to ~50 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods.
Good communication and documentation skills.

Familiarity with basic measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, multimeters).
Experience in electronics, mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse operations (professional or hobbyist).
Exposure to ERP/MRP systems or inventory tools.
Interest in robotics, hardware, or technology startups.
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a full-time, hourly position with a pay range of $25.00 to $26.00 per hour, depending on experience. Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at Standard Bots. All full-time employees are eligible for employee stock options.
