Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Enterprise Sales Engineer position sits at the intersection of SaaS delivery and enterprise cybersecurity, supporting a platform used to validate security controls at scale. With coverage across MEA and Africa, it reflects a common SaaS pattern: expanding adoption in heterogeneous markets where buyer needs, infrastructure maturity, and procurement expectations vary significantly by country and sector.
For a SaaS career, the role builds durable strengths in pre-sales craft: technical discovery, demo design, and evaluation management in complex environments. Working through Proofs of Value and partner-assisted engagements develops an understanding of how product capabilities, security requirements, and stakeholder alignment translate into repeatable go-to-market motions—experience that carries across many enterprise SaaS categories beyond security.
It is best suited to professionals who enjoy being the technical counterpart in enterprise deals and can switch between hands-on troubleshooting and executive-level explanation. The travel component and multi-market remit fit someone comfortable operating independently while coordinating closely with sales and partners, and who values breadth of exposure to different customer architectures and decision processes.
