Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Principal Business System Analyst role sits at the operational core of SaaS: the order-to-cash backbone that connects subscription billing, credit, collections, and revenue impact. Work centered on Oracle Fusion O2C modules is particularly relevant for SaaS businesses where recurring revenue, customer lifecycle changes, and accurate invoicing require tightly governed processes and reliable systems.
From a SaaS career perspective, the remit builds durable expertise in how subscription businesses translate commercial activity into cash and reporting. Hands-on ownership across design, configuration, integrations, and analytics (APIs, OIC, OTBI/BI Publisher) develops a rare blend of functional and technical fluency—useful in SaaS environments where finance, sales ops, and product-adjacent systems must stay aligned. The emphasis on root-cause analysis and long-term fixes also signals experience with production reliability and process controls, not just project delivery.
This position is best suited to a senior systems professional who prefers end-to-end accountability and cross-functional problem solving. It will appeal to candidates who enjoy translating business workflows into scalable system behavior, and who want to be the point of continuity across workshops, testing cycles, and operational support in an enterprise-grade SaaS context.
