Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Graduate Technical Consultant position sits at a common intersection in SaaS: product implementation and customer-facing engineering. Genesis operates a platform model—frameworks, integrations, and reusable components—aimed at helping financial services teams modernise workflows and build new applications. That combination of platform depth and regulated, high-performance use cases makes the role relevant to SaaS professionals interested in how software is adopted inside complex enterprises.
From a career-development standpoint, the role offers early exposure to the full lifecycle that underpins many SaaS outcomes: translating user needs into requirements, configuring and extending a product, shipping code, and supporting go-lives. Working across Java/Kotlin/TypeScript and proof-of-concept builds builds a transferable toolkit for implementation engineering, solutions architecture, or product-adjacent technical roles in other SaaS companies—particularly those selling into enterprise environments.
This role is best suited to a recent graduate who prefers learning by building and explaining, not only coding in isolation. It aligns with someone comfortable moving between technical detail and stakeholder conversations, and who is motivated by practical problem-solving in real customer contexts. An interest in platforms, integrations, and production deployment will likely map well to the day-to-day work.
The section above is editorial commentary from The SaaS Jobs, provided to help SaaS professionals understand the role in a broader industry context.
Job Description
WHO WE ARE
We enable financial markets organisations to innovate at speed through a software application development platform, prepackaged solutions and deep expertise in capital markets and financial services. In supercharging developers to rapidly deliver high-performance, resilient and secure applications, Genesis replaces the buy vs. build challenge with a buy-to-build solution.
The Genesis platform is designed with flexibility and performance at its core, providing developers with the frameworks, integrations and components required to automate manual workflows, enhance legacy systems and build entirely new applications. Featuring a resilient, real-time service-oriented architecture, Genesis excels across the performance envelope of low-latency, high-throughput and high-scalability, powering mission-critical applications at the world’s leading financial institutions.
