Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Solutions Architect role sits in a distinctly SaaS segment: developer productivity and DevOps tooling sold into enterprise environments. Work like CI/CD acceleration and build-system optimisation is increasingly central to modern SaaS delivery, making the position relevant to how software organisations measure throughput, reliability, and release cadence. The customer set implied by the listing also signals a product that must operate across varied stacks, constraints, and governance models common in B2B SaaS.
From a SaaS career perspective, the role builds durable strengths at the intersection of product, infrastructure, and commercial execution. Leading technical discovery, running proofs of value, and translating performance metrics into outcome narratives are core patterns in SaaS go-to-market for technical platforms. Experience creating repeatable assets—reference architectures, templates, and demos—also maps well to scaling enablement and technical pre-sales functions across other SaaS categories.
This position best fits a senior practitioner who enjoys being close to real customer environments and is comfortable switching between deep systems detail and executive-level communication. It will suit someone motivated by diagnosing workflow bottlenecks, navigating multi-team stakeholder dynamics, and shaping adoption through practical architecture guidance rather than purely internal engineering delivery.

Who We Are:
Incredibuild empowers developers to radically accelerate their work by shortening build times, enabling more iterations, and speeding up product releases.
Thousands of customers - including world-leading brands - rely on our platform to streamline and accelerate everything from compilation to release automation, resulting in major resource savings and faster time-to-market.
We’ve helped over 200,000 developers at companies like Microsoft, Samsung, Nintendo, Amazon, and many others build some of the world’s most impactful software across gaming, financial services, embedded systems, and more.
As a Solutions Architect at Incredibuild, you will partner with enterprise customers to design and deliver technical solutions that accelerate CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows. Your responsibilities will include:
- Own the technical relationship with prospects and customers from discovery through proof of value and rollout.
- Lead architecture workshops to understand current build/test/CI pipelines and identify bottlenecks.
- Design solution architectures using Incredibuild across CI/CD systems and developer environments.
- Build compelling technical and ROI narratives using performance metrics and customer outcomes.
- Work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to bring customer feedback and unblock deployments.
- Create reusable assets (reference architectures, POC templates, best practices, demos).
- Support customers post-sale during early onboarding and expansion phases.
Requirements
Who You Are:
- 5+ years in an enterprise customer-facing technical role: Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, DevOps Architect, or similar.
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD environments (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Bamboo).
- Solid understanding of build/test workflows and build systems (e.g., CMake, MSBuild, Ninja, Make, Gradle, Bazel).
- Strong OS and infrastructure knowledge: Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience working with cloud providers (AWS / Azure / GCP) and hybrid enterprise environments.
Excellent communication skills: able to explain complex systems to both engineers and executives.
- Experience with large-scale development and devops environments.
- Familiarity with compiler toolchains and artifacts caching strategies.
- Kubernetes/containerized CI environments.
- Networking configuration experience.
- Performance profiling/analysis experience for builds and pipelines.
Prior experience in DevTools, developer productivity, CI/CD acceleration, or observability.
