Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Product Designer – Growth roles sit at the intersection of product-led growth and enterprise-grade UX, and this one is anchored in a B2B SaaS context where “growth” is shaped by security buyers and their end-users. The focus on early journeys and first-time experience signals work that influences activation and adoption—core levers in subscription software where retention depends on users reaching value quickly.
For a SaaS career, the standout value is the blend of experimentation and craft: forming hypotheses, validating with qualitative and quantitative inputs, and iterating alongside product and engineering. That combination builds durable skills for SaaS environments—designing funnels, improving onboarding, and contributing to scalable patterns via a design system—while staying grounded in measurable outcomes rather than one-off UI delivery.
This role tends to fit designers who like operating in a product-engineering-design triad and are comfortable navigating ambiguity through structured discovery. It suits someone who enjoys balancing established interaction patterns with thoughtful departures, and who prefers research-informed decision-making to purely aesthetic debates. Given the Lisbon-based hybrid setup, it also aligns with professionals who value in-person collaboration as part of their working rhythm.
