About the Role

As a Product Manager (L6) for Dubbing & Localization, you will own the vision and strategy for one of Synthesia’s most critical growth engines. AI Dubbing is a dedicated business line with its own ARR targets and a primary "wedge" into the world’s largest enterprises. Your mission is to dominate the market for practical video localization, transforming how global organizations communicate by making video translation as seamless and scalable as text.

You will lead the end-to-end experience for dubbing, from high-touch "magic" editing workflows in our UI to high-scale automation via APIs and bulk tools. This role offers a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of cutting-edge AI research and enterprise-scale systems thinking. You will be responsible for proving that AI-driven localization can surpass traditional methods in quality, speed, and governance, ultimately driving adoption across 90% of the Fortune 100.

What will you be doing?

Defining and owning the multi-year roadmap for Dubbing & Localization, positioning Synthesia as the undisputed category leader in enterprise video translation.
Driving a core revenue stream, taking accountability for Dubbing ARR, GDR, and usage metrics (minutes dubbed) as a top-level business priority.
Architecting the "Gateway" strategy, ensuring Dubbing serves as a seamless entry point for new logos to adopt the broader Synthesia creation platform.
Evolving the localization workflow, overseeing the development of transcription proofreading, translation glossaries, speaker assignment, and secure editing environments for regulated industries.
Scaling through automation, defining the strategy for public APIs, Excel add-ins, and bulk processing tools to move customers from one-off projects to continuous, automated workflows.
Partnering with Research and Infrastructure to push the boundaries of voice human-likeness, lip-sync accuracy, and prosody preservation while maintaining a world-class COGS structure.
Championing Enterprise-readiness, building the governance, credit controls, and RBAC features necessary for global brands to deploy dubbing at scale.
Acting as a key business influencer, collaborating with GTM, Sales, and Customer Success to bridge the gap between "magic" technology and repeatable enterprise value.

Who are you?

You are an experienced Product Manager with 7+ years of experience, specifically spiking in an understanding of Localization, Dubbing, or Translation technologies. You understand the nuances of CAT tools, glossaries, and the complexities of multi-language workflows.
You are a Systems Thinker with a background in a mature scale-up environment. You know how to build for a platform that is already at scale rather than just hacking together a 0-to-1 MVP.
You have deep Technical/API fluency, comfortable engaging with engineers on API design, extensibility, and the infrastructure required to process massive volumes of video data.
You are commercially minded, comfortable owning a P&L-style product line where ARR, CAC, and credit-consumption metrics are your primary north stars.
You possess strong Product Intuition, with a focus on lowering the "barrier to magic." You can identify why a user might struggle with a transcription edit and design the workflow to fix it.
You are a Strategic Navigator, able to lead cross-functional teams through ambiguous challenges, like moving customers from "one-off backlog" usage to "recurring workflow" habits.
You have a solid understanding of Video and AI, with a passion for how generative media is disrupting traditional creative industries.
You are a master communicator, able to distill complex technical roadmaps into compelling narratives for executive stakeholders and enterprise buyers.
