Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Enterprise account leadership remains a defining motion in SaaS, and this role sits at that intersection: owning a defined DACH territory while engaging both business and technical stakeholders. The scope spans new logo acquisition alongside expansion within existing customers, reflecting how established SaaS vendors balance growth with retention in mature European markets.
From a SaaS career perspective, the work builds durable skills in running a full-cycle, metrics-led sales process—prospecting, discovery, negotiation, and forecasting—where repeatability matters as much as individual wins. Exposure to CRM/EX/CX/ITSM-style categories also strengthens product fluency in horizontal SaaS, a useful foundation for moving across adjacent platforms and go-to-market motions over time.
This position tends to suit commercial professionals who prefer autonomy in territory planning and are comfortable operating at executive level while staying grounded in practical deal mechanics. It also fits someone who values consultative selling—linking product capabilities to business outcomes—rather than transactional volume, and who wants a role where pipeline discipline and cross-functional coordination are central to performance.
