Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Engineering Manager role sits at a familiar SaaS inflection point: maintaining a security product relied on at scale while continuing to ship new customer-facing capabilities. With Dashlane’s web extension serving both B2C and B2B users, the work naturally spans reliability, performance, and product experience, all under the constraints that security-led SaaS teams live with every day.
For a SaaS engineering leader, the career value is in building fluency across the operating system of subscription software: roadmap-driven delivery, cross-functional alignment, and iterative improvement of systems that must stay stable as usage grows. The remit also signals exposure to modern security architecture themes, where technical decisions carry direct implications for trust, retention, and enterprise readiness.
The position tends to suit managers who enjoy developing engineers while staying close to technical direction and execution. It will appeal to professionals who prefer clear collaboration rhythms with in-office time, and who are motivated by long-lived product surfaces where quality and risk management matter as much as feature throughput.
The section above is editorial commentary from The SaaS Jobs, provided to help SaaS professionals understand the role in a broader industry context.
