Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
CorePlan operates in a vertical SaaS niche, applying cloud software to operational workflows in mining where reliability and data integrity are central. An L2 application support role in this setting sits close to the real-world edge cases that surface when a platform replaces paper processes, and it provides direct visibility into how enterprise customers use a product in production.
For SaaS career development, this kind of position builds durable skills in incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and customer facing technical communication, all of which translate across B2B software companies. Regular work with SQL, scripting, logs, and integrations helps deepen product and systems thinking, while the handoff to engineering develops the discipline of writing reproducible findings and validating fixes. Exposure to onboarding and configuration also strengthens an understanding of how SaaS implementations succeed or fail beyond code.
This role tends to suit someone who enjoys structured problem solving and can move between technical detail and clear explanations under ticket based workflows. It is a strong match for professionals who want to be a technical bridge function and are comfortable owning escalations, documentation, and occasional on-call support in a cloud hosted application environment.
