Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Genesys is a scaled SaaS and cloud platform business where finance work is tightly coupled to operating levers rather than one off projects. This role sits in Strategic Finance supporting HR and Facilities, a vantage point that is increasingly important in subscription businesses where headcount planning, capacity, and unit economics shape the ability to invest across product, go to market, and customer operations.
For a SaaS finance career, the position builds durable experience in planning cycles, variance narratives, and executive level reporting that translate across public and late stage private software companies. Partnering with functional leaders on headcount and non labor spend develops the habit of linking budget decisions to outcomes, while exposure to forecasting tooling and data consistency work reinforces the systems mindset needed as SaaS organizations mature their FP&A and reporting stack.
This is best suited to a hands on finance professional who prefers being embedded with non finance stakeholders and owning recurring cadences from close through forecast. It will appeal to someone who values structured analysis, clear communication, and process improvement, and who wants to grow into a broader business partnering track within a cloud software environment.
