Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Senior Salesforce Administrator role sits at the operational core of a SaaS business, where Salesforce is more than a CRM and functions as the system of record for revenue workflows and customer lifecycle data. The remit spans configuration, support, and platform improvement, indicating a mature Salesforce environment with multiple stakeholder groups and a steady stream of production issues and enhancement requests.
For a SaaS career, the role builds durable expertise in the mechanics that keep go to market teams effective: governance of permissions and security, automation patterns in Flow, data quality discipline, and reporting that supports decision making. Exposure to managed packages and integrations such as HubSpot and CPQ also maps closely to common SaaS stacks, developing an understanding of how lead to cash processes are stitched together across systems.
This position tends to suit an administrator who prefers structured problem solving and ownership of platform reliability, balancing ticket driven support with iterative optimization. It also fits someone comfortable translating business requirements into maintainable configurations, documenting decisions, and guiding adoption through training and release awareness, rather than focusing primarily on custom development.
