Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Industry Architect role sits in a core SaaS intersection: translating marketing strategy into data and AI architectures on a cloud platform. In the current SaaS landscape, where customer data, activation, and measurement are increasingly consolidated into modern data stacks, the position reflects how platform companies shape outcomes by defining repeatable solution patterns rather than one-off implementations. The cross-industry remit also signals a broad view of how similar GTM and data problems show up across verticals.
For a long-term SaaS career, the standout value is the blend of customer-facing architecture, internal enablement, and product-adjacent influence. Building reference architectures, prototypes, and field-ready assets develops a portfolio that transfers across platform, analytics, and martech ecosystems. The role also deepens fluency in privacy, consent, and governed AI, areas that increasingly determine how SaaS products are adopted and expanded inside enterprises.
This position tends to suit professionals who enjoy operating between technical depth and executive narrative, and who prefer structured discovery, workshop facilitation, and clear solution framing. It is a strong match for architects or senior practitioners who want to standardize best practices at scale while staying close to real customer journeys and measurable marketing use cases.

Job Description
Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential — and people too. With a culture that’s all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology — and careers — to the next level.
About the Role
As an Industry Architect for Marketing at Snowflake, you sit at the intersection of marketing strategy, data, and AI. You’ll help leading brands across multiple industries reimagine how they understand, engage, and grow their customers on top of Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud.
Your mission is to turn ideas into repeatable, scalable marketing solutions: from customer 360 and omnichannel personalization to consent-aware activation, measurement, and AI-powered decisioning. You’ll pair deep marketing and martech understanding with modern data and AI architecture, partnering with field teams, product, and customers to shape how Snowflake shows up for marketers everywhere.
What You’ll Do
Lead strategic customer engagements
Partner with CMOs, Heads of CRM, Marketing Ops, Digital, and Data leaders on high-impact initiatives, framing how Snowflake can power their next generation of customer growth and experience.
Translate marketing problems into architectures
Turn cross-industry marketing challenges - customer 360, segmentation, personalization, attribution/measurement, consent and privacy, next-best-action - into clear, end-to-end data and AI architectures and roadmaps.
Lead customer-facing discovery & experience workshops
Facilitate structured, UX-style workshops with cross-functional customer teams to unpack journeys, identify the highest-value marketing problems to solve, and quickly co-design and prototype data- and AI-driven solutions on Snowflake.
Design the “last mile” marketing experience
Architect how marketers, analysts, and growth teams actually experience Snowflake:
Native experiences using Snowflake Intelligence, Streamlit, and agents
Integrations with CDPs, marketing automation, adtech/martech, BI, and product analytics tools
Workflows that fit naturally into how marketing teams plan, execute, and measure campaigns
Build compelling prototypes and demos
Create hands-on reference implementations that bring stories to life:
Customer 360 and audience strategy powered by Snowflake
AI-driven segmentation, recommendations, and propensity models
Agents and copilots that help marketers ask questions, explore audiences, and plan campaigns using natural language
Create reusable, field-ready assets
Package your work into repeatable assets:
Reference architectures, blueprints, and solution patterns
Demo scripts, data stories, and Streamlit apps
Persona- and vertical-specific playbooks for sales and solution engineering
Shape our cross-industry marketing story
Work with Industry GTM, Product Marketing, and Solution Engineering to sharpen Snowflake’s point of view on modern marketing and advertising architectures across Retail & CPG, Financial Services, Media & Entertainment, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and more.
Be a visible marketing + data thought leader
Share best practices and patterns through enablement sessions, webinars, customer workshops, and industry events - helping both internal teams and customers understand what “great” looks like on Snowflake.
Champion responsible, governed AI in marketing
Ensure that solutions you design respect privacy, consent, governance, and brand safety, and that AI usage is grounded, observable, and aligned to customer trust.
Who You Are
Marketing and martech fluent
8+ years in marketing technology, data-driven marketing, digital experience, or adjacent architecture roles
Strong grasp of core marketing concepts: customer 360, audience strategy, lifecycle marketing, personalization, attribution/measurement, consent and privacy, and media activation
Comfortable mapping these concepts into concrete data models, workflows, and technical architectures
Architect at heart, storyteller by nature
Proven experience designing or implementing data and AI architectures that support marketing and customer experience use cases
Able to simplify complex ideas into clear narratives, visuals, and decision frameworks for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Confident facilitating whiteboard sessions, journey mapping, and executive briefings
Hands-on with data and AI
Proficient in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python preferred)
Experience building or guiding data- or AI-driven applications (e.g., notebooks, Streamlit, web apps, or similar)
Familiarity with modern AI patterns (LLMs, RAG, embeddings, predictive models) and how they can be safely applied in marketing and advertising
Cross-industry and persona-aware
Experience working with marketing teams in multiple industries (e.g., Retail & CPG, Financial Services, Media & Entertainment, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Public Sector)
Comfortable shifting between personas - from CMO and CDO to Marketing Ops, CRM, Growth, and Analytics
Collaborative by default
Track record of partnering with sales, solution engineering, product, and marketing teams to win and grow strategic customers
Energized by enabling others through frameworks, templates, and enablement - not just one-off solutions
Preferred background
Experience in or alongside industry solutions / go-to-market teams focused on marketing or customer experience
Background in product design, service design, or HCI for marketing, data, analytics, or AI products
Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms, including building marketing data products, dashboards, or AI/ML workloads
Familiarity with tools like Figma or Miro for journey mapping, storyboarding, and experience design
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, computer science, engineering, human-computer interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Ability and willingness to travel to customers, field events, and industry conferences as needed
