Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Head of Growth role sits at the centre of a product-led SaaS motion, with clear ownership across the self-serve lifecycle from acquisition through retention and expansion. In the SaaS ecosystem, that remit matters because it ties together funnel mechanics, in-product behaviour, and monetisation levers that often determine whether a multi-product platform compounds efficiently. The mandate to improve signup and expansion flows signals a focus on reducing friction and increasing time-to-value, core drivers in subscription businesses.
From a career perspective, the position offers sustained exposure to the operating system of modern SaaS growth: experimentation, behavioural analytics, lifecycle communication, and cross-functional execution with product, data, design, marketing, and finance. Leading forecasting and dashboarding work also builds durable skills in translating leading indicators into prioritisation and resourcing decisions, a capability that transfers across B2B SaaS models and go-to-market strategies.
The role is best suited to a senior growth operator who prefers end-to-end accountability and is comfortable making trade-offs across multiple metrics rather than optimising a single channel. It will fit someone who enjoys working as a connective layer between strategy and execution, and who can align technical and commercial stakeholders around measurable changes in the self-service journey.

Job Description
Your role
As a Growth Leader, you’ll own acquisition, activation, retention, monetization, and referral for self-service customers across Dialpad’s suite of products. You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing, product, data, design, and finance to build, test, and scale growth initiatives that drive meaningful user engagement and measurable business impact.
You will be responsible for continually improving and optimizing our online signup and expansion flows, and will act as the connective tissue between our growth strategy and execution.
This position reports to our Chief Operating Officer and has the opportunity to be based in a U.S. hub site, including San Ramon, CA, Denver, CO, Austin, TX, or Tempe, AZ.
What you’ll do
- Own growth performance across the entire self-service funnel, from acquisition and signup through activation, expansion, and retention.
- Build and execute growth strategies that drive user adoption, onboarding success, and long-term engagement, and also impact cross-sell and upsell.
- Identify, prioritize, and deliver high-impact growth initiatives based on revenue potential and speed to impact.
- Forecast and report on growth performance, providing dashboards and insights that drive data-informed decisions.
- Lead end-to-end retention campaigns, collaborating with product, content, and marketing teams to optimize results.
- Select and implement tools for A/B testing, behavioral analytics, and customer communication.
- Continuously test, measure, and iterate on onboarding flows and customer touchpoints to accelerate time-to-value.
- Evangelize a growth culture and risk-taking, communicating effectively across teams and senior leadership, translating data and insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
Skills you’ll bring
- 10+ years of experience in growth or product-led growth roles at B2B SaaS companies.
- Strong understanding of user analytics, experimentation, and growth metrics. Expert knowledge of digital marketing performance principles and analytics tools.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
- Ability to build strong relationships with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of growth loops, virality, and user engagement drivers.
- Resourceful, strategic, and comfortable operating in a high-expectation, fast-moving environment.
- Technical literacy at a level to understand the codebase enough to assess the difficulty of execution; coding competency is a plus.
