Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Deal Desk Manager role sits at a core pressure point in modern SaaS: turning product packaging and pricing strategy into executable, policy-compliant deals inside a subscription business. With Genesys Cloud positioned as an AI-powered customer experience platform, the function reflects how enterprise SaaS vendors increasingly rely on disciplined commercial governance to balance growth motions with margin, cash, and contractual risk across regions.
For a SaaS career, Deal Desk work builds a durable understanding of how revenue is actually made and protected, from discounting logic and non standard terms through to quote to cash mechanics. The remit spans Salesforce-based approvals, stakeholder alignment across Sales, Legal, Finance, and RevOps, and hands-on negotiation support, all of which are transferable across companies with recurring revenue models and complex procurement cycles.
This position best fits professionals who prefer structured problem solving and can translate ambiguity into clear commercial recommendations. It also suits those who enjoy cross functional coordination and influencing without direct authority, especially when multiple transactions move in parallel and decisions require sound judgment grounded in policy and financial outcomes.
