Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Senior Data Scientist role sits at the intersection of product analytics and platform economics in a mature, high-scale subscription SaaS environment. The remit spans creator supply, listener engagement, and rights attribution, which are classic marketplace-style constraints expressed through a SaaS product surface. The cross-functional footprint across creator tooling, personalization, core experience, and rights signals work that connects experimentation to real platform decisions rather than isolated model building.
For a SaaS career, the standout value is end-to-end ownership of how success is defined and measured, from hypothesis formation through metric design and inference. Experience balancing multiple stakeholder outcomes, creator value, consumer engagement, and business health, translates well to other SaaS companies managing multi-sided products. The emphasis on causal thinking, roadmap shaping, and narrative communication reflects the kind of decision support expected from senior data scientists in product-led organizations.
This role fits professionals who prefer ambiguous problem spaces, can operate with autonomy, and are comfortable influencing senior stakeholders through clear analytical storytelling. It will suit candidates who enjoy combining experimentation rigor with applied modeling, and who want their work to be visible in user-facing experiences and the underlying systems that power them.
