Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
People Shared Services roles are increasingly central in SaaS organisations where distributed teams, frequent organisational change, and high reliance on systems demand consistent employee lifecycle execution. This Senior People Shared Service Partner position stands out because it sits at the intersection of employee support and operational rigor, with explicit ownership of onboarding and offboarding, Tier 2 casework, and HRIS data integrity in Workday. The inclusion of M&A, restructuring, and divestiture support signals a People Ops function built to handle complexity rather than only steady state transactions.
For a SaaS career path, the value is in learning how scalable People Operations are designed and maintained. Process documentation, workflow automation, vendor coordination with EOR and background check partners, and audit readiness are all repeatable capabilities across modern SaaS environments. Owning small to mid-sized projects such as record migrations also builds the practical program management muscle that becomes important as HR teams mature from service delivery into operational enablement.
This role fits someone who prefers structured problem solving, careful handling of sensitive information, and measurable operational outcomes. It will suit professionals ready to move beyond ticket resolution into continuous improvement, particularly those who want to deepen HRIS fluency and become a dependable operator during periods of organisational change.
