Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Team Lead, Sales Development role sits at a common inflection point in SaaS go to market teams, where outbound pipeline generation needs more structure than a group of individual contributors can provide. With an explicit player coach remit and close partnership with sales and marketing leadership, the position reflects how SaaS companies operationalise early funnel performance to feed Account Executives with consistent demo volume, particularly for an English speaking market from a Berlin hub.
For a SaaS career path, the role offers durable exposure to the mechanics that scale revenue development: hiring and onboarding, repeatable outreach strategy, activity measurement, and continuous enablement through call reviews and product knowledge. Building these systems is transferable across SaaS categories because it sharpens the ability to translate targets into team routines and to diagnose where conversion breaks down between lead generation and booked meetings.
This position fits professionals who enjoy balancing hands on quota ownership with coaching responsibility, and who prefer working through process, feedback, and metrics rather than relying on individual heroics. It is also well matched to someone ready to formalise leadership skills in sales development while staying close to day to day execution.
