The Swiss Security team is looking for a proactive generalist who can spot a needle in a cloud-sized haystack. As a Information Security Analyst, you are a primary contributor to global Change Management (CM), security reviews, and vulnerability tracking. You won't just inherit data; you will decide how to act on it—collaborating with local and global commercial resources to drive remediation and ensure our environment remains resilient and secure.
What you will do:
Global Contributor: Act as a primary contributor to global Change Management (CM) and security review processes, evaluating the security implications of changes across the entire Genesys Cloud environment.
Vulnerability Advocacy: Identify misconfigurations and vulnerabilities, then collaborate directly with developer teams to drive fixes and reach acceptable security solutions.
Web App Vigilance: Utilize your understanding of the OWASP Top 10 to identify and prioritize risks in our web-based application environment.
Operational Analysis: Participate in threat hunting and incident response activities, monitoring for anomalies in the identity lifecycle and across logging platforms.
Tracking & Remediation: Use vulnerability scanning, SAST, and SCA tool categories to proactively find issues, then track and drive remediation efforts with service teams.
What you will bring to the role:
3+ years of hands-on security experience in cloud-native environments.
Analytical Mindset: A strong ability to distinguish between false positives and critical risks in high-data environments.
Remediation Logic: Beyond passing on data, the ability to adjudicate risk based on the existing security stack and technically validate that developer remediations achieve a secure state.
Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate findings to dev teams and drive remediation while maintaining strong professional relationships.
Detail Oriented: Highly organized and capable of managing multiple security workstreams across global and regional divisions.
Initiative: A "hungry" mindset with a desire to learn and contribute to security-as-code initiatives.
Location: Physical presence in Switzerland is mandatory.
Desirable experience with:
Linux server environments and ITSM solutions (e.g., JIRA).
Tool types: Logging/SIEM/SOAR, EDR/Cloud Security, Vulnerability Scanning, and SAST/SCA.
Working knowledge of AWS security services, identity management, and ITDR principles.
Certifications/Degrees (Advantageous but not required):
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CCSK, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.
