Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Business Development Representative role sits at a classic SaaS growth junction: creating qualified pipeline through disciplined outbound and account research, then handing momentum to field sales. The remit spans social channels, targeted account lists, and local events, which reflects how many SaaS vendors blend digital prospecting with market presence to build reliable top of funnel coverage in specific regions.
For a SaaS career path, the value is in learning repeatable pipeline mechanics rather than relying on inbound demand. Experience building territory and account plans, qualifying leads, and managing multiple concurrent outreach motions translates well across SaaS segments, especially where sales cycles involve multiple stakeholders. Close alignment with Field Sales Managers also provides practical exposure to how discovery, qualification, and handoff standards shape forecast quality.
This role tends to suit early career commercial professionals who prefer structured targets, consistent prospecting habits, and careful follow up. It also fits someone interested in developing regional market fluency, given the emphasis on Dutch language and onsite work in Amsterdam. Candidates who enjoy balancing research with high volume communication, and who are comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, are likely to find the day to day cadence a strong match.
