Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Business Development Representative role sits at a familiar pressure point in enterprise SaaS: turning broad market awareness into qualified pipeline for field sales. With an onsite base in Amsterdam and multiple European languages in scope, the remit aligns with how many SaaS vendors build regional coverage, combining targeted outbound, community participation, and account research to create repeatable top of funnel motion.
For a SaaS career, the value is in learning the mechanics that translate across products and segments: account selection, multi channel sequencing, qualification discipline, and the handoff between prospecting and closing. Close alignment with Field Sales Managers also builds context on territory planning and how pipeline is inspected against targets, which is foundational knowledge for progression into account executive roles, partnerships, or revenue operations within subscription businesses.
This position tends to suit early career professionals who want structured exposure to enterprise buying cycles and who enjoy daily outreach and careful follow up. It also fits candidates comfortable switching between research, written communication, and live conversations, including interactions with senior stakeholders. Those interested in financial or accounting domains may find the product context a useful anchor for credible discovery.
