About the Role
Join Genesys and help bring unforgettable brand experiences to life on a global stage. As a Global Events Intern, you will be part of the team behind high-impact events that connect with customers, build community, and drive real business results. This is not just about logistics, you will get a front-row seat to how world-class marketing events are designed, executed, and measured.
From supporting large-scale global programs to exploring new ways to engage audiences, you will gain hands-on experience and see how events play a critical role in shaping brand perception and accelerating growth. What You’ll Do
Support the planning and execution of global marketing events from concept to completion
Work with event technology tools to manage attendee lists, track engagement, and support reporting
Assist with sponsorship coordination, vendor communication, and on-the-ground logistics
Help keep event timelines on track by coordinating tasks and following up with stakeholders
Analyze event performance and contribute to post-event reports that highlight insights and opportunities
Collaborate with content, social media, and demand generation teams to help promote events and drive attendance
Research new and creative ways to increase event engagement, both virtual and in-person
Stay on top of event marketing trends and bring fresh ideas to the team
What You’ll Bring
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Event Management, or a related field
Strong interest in event marketing and curiosity about how events drive brand awareness and business growth
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Familiarity with tools such as Marketo, Cvent, Tableau, or similar platforms is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel and support onsite events when needed
