Who we are
80% of the workers across the globe are Deskless. These are the people who keep our lights on and gas flowing, build roads and bridges, run our manufacturing factories, ensure that we get healthcare service, and provide us with reliable phone and internet connectivity. As entrepreneurs, have we considered solving their problems and making them more productive?
Zinier is a company on a mission to empower frontline workers - and the people supporting them - to achieve greater things for themselves and the world around them. With the majority of workers worldwide being deskless, Zinier recognizes the need for Technology Equity to improve the lives and productivity of these workers who keep the world up and running.
We are a remote-first, global team headquartered in Silicon Valley, with a hybrid workforce across the United States, Canada, Europe, Latin America, Singapore, and Bangalore, India, with leading investors that include Accel, ICONIQ Capital, Founders Fund, Newfund Capital, NGP Capital, Tiger Global Management, and Qualcomm Ventures LLC.
What we are looking for
Do you get fired up about the puzzle of putting the right technician on the right job at the right time—and then figuring out how to do it ten times better? Do you instinctively think about scheduling constraints, workforce optimisation, and the gap between what dispatchers need and what technology delivers today? Zinier is searching for a strategically-minded, market-savvy Product Manager to own our Scheduler stream—the most technically demanding and commercially critical pillar of our platform.
In this high-impact role, you’ll own the Scheduler roadmap end-to-end: the ‘what’ and the ‘why’. You’ll spend serious time with customers—sitting with dispatchers, planners, and service delivery leaders—to deeply understand their scheduling requirements, uncover the problems they’re trying to solve, and learn what more they want from their scheduling tools. You’ll pair that customer intimacy with sharp market intelligence: understanding where we differentiate versus competitors, what capabilities are table stakes in the FSM scheduling space, and where the genuine whitespace opportunities lie. That combination is what shapes a roadmap that doesn’t just respond to requests—it positions Zinier’s Scheduler as the category leader.
Scheduling doesn’t exist in isolation. Our Scheduler is deeply interlinked with Dispatch Console, Capacity Management, and Maps & Routes. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the Product Managers who own those domains and with our Product Architect to ensure coherence across the platform. You’ll also partner with Go-to-Market teams to define the customer journeys and value propositions we want to demonstrate and showcase—it’s not enough to build great scheduling capability; Sales, CS, and Marketing need to articulate why it matters and show it in action.
You won’t be writing user stories or attending daily standups—that’s the Product Owner’s domain. Your PO sits in India, embedded with engineering, and you’ll hand off fully-formed PRDs that give them everything they need to decompose and execute with precision. The cleaner your handoff, the better the output.
Bring your scheduling brain, your customer empathy, your competitive instinct, and your first-principles thinking. This is your opportunity to shape the future of intelligent workforce scheduling—from market positioning to product delivery.
Where you are located
Anywhere in the US; able to collaborate with customers and teams across continents as needed, either remotely or in-person (occasional travel required). You’ll work closely with fellow PMs in the UK/US, Product Architects, and a Product Owner in India, so flexibility across time zones is essential.
What the role offers
- Own the Scheduler stream roadmap: Define and maintain the product direction for scheduling, dispatching optimisation, capacity management integration, and route optimisation—aligned to portfolio priorities and informed by deep customer and market insight
- Spend meaningful time with customers: Conduct regular discovery sessions, on-site visits, and workshops with dispatchers, planners, and operations leaders to understand their scheduling requirements, uncover unmet needs, and validate product hypotheses with real-world evidence
- Build and maintain market intelligence: Continuously assess the competitive landscape—understand where Zinier differentiates, what capabilities are table stakes, and where whitespace opportunities exist—to inform roadmap prioritisation and positioning
- Partner with Go-to-Market teams: Work with Sales, CS, and Marketing to define the customer journeys and value propositions for Scheduler capabilities; ensure demo environments, sales collateral, and enablement materials showcase differentiated value
- Collaborate with adjacent Product Managers: Work closely with the PMs who own Dispatch Console, Capacity Management, and Maps & Routes to align priorities, resolve cross-stream dependencies, and ensure the Scheduler roadmap reinforces the broader platform vision
- Partner with Product Architecture: Engage the Product Architect on technical feasibility, cross-stream dependency mapping, and platform coherence before PRDs enter the backlog
- Write PRDs with clear problem statements, success criteria, and WSJF scores: Every epic gets a PRD rooted in customer evidence and market context—articulating the problem, who it affects, measurable outcomes, and a rigorous WSJF score
- Hand off to your Product Owner with precision: Deliver finalised PRDs with wireframes, technical constraints, and clear acceptance criteria that enable the India-based PO to decompose into stories within 3 days
- Define quarterly OKRs for the Scheduler stream: Set ambitious, measurable objectives aligned to the portfolio priority matrix and track progress monthly
- Champion evidence-based prioritisation: Synthesise customer insight, NPS feedback, support ticket patterns, usage data, and competitive intelligence into a prioritisation rationale that stakeholders can trust
What you’ll bring to the role
- 5–7 years in product management within B2B SaaS: Proven track record owning a product stream, writing PRDs, and delivering measurable outcomes in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Deep domain expertise in scheduling, optimisation, or workforce management: Hands-on experience with scheduling engines, dispatch optimisation, constraint-based assignment, capacity planning, or route optimisation—ideally within field service management, logistics, or workforce management platforms
- Strong market and competitive instinct: Experience building competitive intelligence, identifying differentiation opportunities, and translating market insight into roadmap decisions—you know the difference between table stakes and genuine advantage
- Customer discovery expertise: Experienced at running discovery sessions, on-site visits, and workshops with operational users and executives; you know how to extract actionable insight from conversation and observation
- Exceptional problem framing: You define problems before jumping to solutions; your PRDs start with ‘why’ and ‘for whom’, not ‘build this feature’
- Strategic thinker with bias to action: Balance long-term vision with tactical execution; make decisions with 70% data, iterate fast, and course-correct without hesitation
- Cross-functional collaboration: Comfortable working across product streams, aligning with fellow PMs on shared dependencies, and partnering with GTM teams to shape positioning and enablement
- Stakeholder orchestration skills: Navigate multi-layered organisations, influence without authority, and craft compelling narratives for audiences ranging from field technicians to C-suite executives
- Data-driven prioritisation: Comfortable with WSJF or equivalent frameworks; you score trade-offs rigorously and can defend sequencing decisions with evidence, not gut feel
- Technical fluency: You don’t write code, but you understand APIs, data models, and algorithm trade-offs well enough to have credible conversations with engineers and architects
- Be Hungry. Be Humble. Be Honest. And Hustle.
Own the problem. Know the market. Be the reason our Scheduler becomes the industry standard.
