Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This SDET II role stands out in SaaS because it sits at the intersection of enterprise software quality and AI-driven customer experience. Netomi’s product focus on conversational and agentic automation implies a testing surface that goes beyond typical web UI coverage, spanning APIs, model behavior, and the reliability expectations that come with large-brand deployments.
For a SaaS career, the role builds durable strengths in quality engineering that translate across modern product organizations: designing automation frameworks, embedding QA into CI/CD, and shaping test strategy alongside multiple teams. The emphasis on accuracy evaluation and structured feedback loops also adds exposure to how AI-enabled SaaS products are validated in practice, where defects can be functional, data-driven, or model-related rather than purely deterministic.
This position tends to fit an SDET who prefers hands-on ownership across manual and automated testing, and who is comfortable turning ambiguous product behavior into clear test plans and actionable reports. It also suits someone who likes partnering with engineering and product stakeholders to raise quality standards, particularly in enterprise contexts where regressions and reliability issues have outsized downstream impact.
The section above is editorial commentary from The SaaS Jobs, provided to help SaaS professionals understand the role in a broader industry context.
