Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Recruitment Coordinator role sits at the operational center of a SaaS company building AI infrastructure for developers and enterprises, where hiring demand often tracks product capability and go to market momentum. In that context, coordination is not just scheduling, it becomes a reliability layer across stakeholders, tooling, and candidate communication, helping the company sustain throughput without degrading experience or process quality.
For a SaaS career, the value is in learning how modern talent functions run in product led, tool heavy environments. Working inside an ATS and collaborating across teams builds fluency in data hygiene, process design, and service level expectations that carry across SaaS operators, whether the next step is recruiting, people operations, or broader business operations. Exposure to early talent and internships can also sharpen an understanding of pipeline building, employer messaging, and interview calibration, all common levers in scaling software organizations.
This role tends to suit someone who prefers structured work, clear handoffs, and measurable follow through, and who takes pride in details that others overlook. It also fits professionals who want a close view of how SaaS teams are built, and who are comfortable being the connective tissue between busy hiring managers and candidates in a remote friendly setup.
The section above is editorial commentary from The SaaS Jobs, provided to help SaaS professionals understand the role in a broader industry context.

Why this role?
Cohere is in a unique and exciting position to grow our technical team globally! We are expanding our Talent Team and are looking for creative, high-performing Talent Coordinators who are eager to take on a new challenge as we are in the early stages of building the Talent Acquisition function. In this role, you will master a new domain as a Talent coordinator, and influence the scaling of a high-growth Canadian tech company. If you consider yourself resilient, collaborative, influential, and a lifelong learner, we’d love to hear from you!
Please Note: We have offices in Toronto, San Francisco, and London but embrace being remote-first!
As a Talent Coordinator, you will:
Be a natural liaison between teams: It’s essential to build solid partnerships with those you’ll support, including hiring managers, the Talent Team and the rest of our People Ops function.
Manage the candidate experience: Build strong relationships with each hire and manage their interview process with seamless communication from start to finish. You are their primary point of contact so giving each candidate a world-class experience is not only important, it's an expectation of this role.
Schedule + prep interviews: Ensuring our hiring teams and candidates are 100% prepared to show up as their best selves.
Support with early talent & intern hiring: From updating/posting internship postings, to scheduling interviews, to helping at Hackathon/internship events when needed.
Help to optimize our interview process & ensure it promotes a positive candidate experience.
Serve as the liaison between the hiring managers and the candidates to provide status updates, answer questions, and ensure timely follow up.
Help ensuring that our internal documentation is kept up to date, working with detail and organization in all of our tools - Lever, Notion, Slack, etc.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy by maintaining the applicant tracking system.
You may be a good fit if:
High attention to detail - nothing gets by you, especially when it comes to communication with candidates.
You are a strong collaborator & team player, and can partner with a variety of functions and levels across the org.
You have great time management & communication skills - you know how long things can take and plan accordingly as you are dealing with multiple calendars, schedules, and ever-changing priorities.
You have experience using applicant tracking systems (e.g., Lever, Greenhouse) and have working knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter.
You like to work in a fast-paced work environment, and execute tasks thoughtfully and efficiently. You take great pride in the role that you plan in cultivating strong candidate experiences and strive to give each candidate a high-touch, positive experience with Cohere.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact and discretion is critical and expected.
You are excited to learn more about our business and the AI industry and share this same passion with our candidates.
You are agile and work well under pressure.
If some of the above doesn’t line up perfectly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply!
We value and celebrate diversity and strive to create an inclusive work environment for all. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to providing equal opportunities. Should you require any accommodations during the recruitment process, please submit an Accommodations Request Form, and we will work together to meet your needs.
