Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Senior People Program Manager role stands out in SaaS because it sits at the intersection of cloud-first operations and AI-enabled internal tooling. In mature SaaS businesses, People systems are core infrastructure, shaping everything from hiring throughput to workforce analytics. The remit here spans HRIS implementations, integrations, data migrations, and pilots of AI-powered workflows, signaling a function that is being treated with the same product and platform discipline applied to customer-facing systems.
From a SaaS career perspective, the work builds durable program leadership skills that translate across companies and stages. Owning end-to-end delivery, coordinating multiple workstreams, and defining reporting that gives leadership real-time visibility are patterns common to scaling SaaS environments. Experience translating HR stakeholder needs into technical requirements also develops a valuable “business to systems” fluency that maps well to broader operations, enterprise tooling, and transformation programs.
This role is best suited to professionals who prefer structured execution, measurable outcomes, and stakeholder alignment in a matrixed organization. It will resonate with candidates who enjoy operating between HR, IT, and vendors, and who are motivated by practical experimentation with AI tools that can be evaluated, piloted, and scaled responsibly.

Job Description
At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
About the Role
Snowflake is looking for a Senior People Project Manager to join our People Tteam. You will own delivery of complex HR systems and technology initiatives — from core HR systems implementations to AI-powered People tools — partnering across the People team and with technical stakeholders to drive meaningful outcomes. You bring a structured, data-informed approach to project delivery and a genuine curiosity for how AI and emerging technologies can transform the way we work.
WHAT YOU'll DO:
Own end-to-end delivery of HR systems and technology projects including HRIS implementations, integrations, data migrations, and AI tool rollouts
Take company-wide, mission-critical People initiatives from original concept through final implementation — including requirements gathering, solution design, UAT, and go-live
Partner with People Technology, IT, and external vendors to define technical scope, evaluate solutions, and drive system configuration and deployment decisions
Collaborate with HR functional teams and centers of excellence (COEs) (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, L&D, HR Operations) to coordinate cross-functional workstreams and translate business needs into technical requirements
Build and maintain reporting frameworks and dashboards that provide real-time visibility into program health for senior leadership
Champion the adoption of AI tools and workflows within the People function, identifying opportunities to embed AI into HR processes, and lead structured pilots from evaluation to scale
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
4-6 years of progressive project or program management experience, with significant time managing HR systems or HR technology implementations
Hands-on experience with core HR systems (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow, Ashby, or similar HRIS/HCM platforms) — not just as a user, but as a project lead or systems implementer
Strong command of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid) and tools (Wrike,Jira, Smartsheet, or similar)
Proven ability to work with data and analytics to inform decisions and measure program outcomes
High degree of organizational rigor, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Familiar with change management concepts, practices, and procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior stakeholders
Ability to identify opportunities to automate or augment HR processes with AI
Ability to navigate a matrixed organization to drive alignment across teams and ensure key decision makers are brought along over the course of the project
NICE TO HAVE:
PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification
Experience with Workday HCM configuration, integrations, or reporting
Familiarity with Snowflake's data platform or similar cloud data technologies
Background in a high-growth tech environment
