Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Senior Manager, Product Outcomes role sits at a point in the SaaS lifecycle where feature delivery is no longer the finish line. It is designed around the harder problem of translating product capabilities into repeatable customer workflows and measurable outcomes, a discipline that becomes critical as platforms broaden, customer segments diversify, and launch volume increases. The remit signals a product-led organization investing in adoption and value realization as first-class operating concerns.
For a SaaS career, the work builds durable leverage: defining outcome frameworks, shaping adoption measurement, and creating operating models that connect Product, Customer Success, Enablement, and Solution Engineering. That combination develops fluency in how SaaS growth is sustained beyond acquisition, through instrumentation, feedback loops, beta programs, and cross-functional execution that ties usage to retention and revenue impact.
This position best fits leaders who prefer ambiguity-to-structure work, enjoy influencing without direct authority, and can balance strategic definition with hands-on operational follow-through. It suits managers who want to formalize a function, coach a team, and operate across product and go-to-market surfaces rather than staying within a single department lane.

Job Description
The Product Outcomes team translates product → jobs to be done → workflows → outcomes. We partner across Product, the Customer Office, and CS to ensure every new capability becomes a lever for customer impact, not just a feature launch.
As the Sr. Manager, Product Outcomes, you will lead the team responsible for bridging the gap between product innovation and customer value realization. You will define the strategy, operating model, and cross-functional partnerships that ensure Gong’s most strategic product investments translate into measurable business outcomes for customers. This role requires a highly autonomous leader who can operate effectively in ambiguity, proactively identify opportunities, build structure where it does not yet exist, and influence senior stakeholders across Product and GTM teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Outcomes Managers, setting clear priorities, success metrics, and accountability for impact.
- Define and evolve the Product Outcomes team strategy, operating model, and repeatable frameworks for translating product capabilities into jobs-to-be-done, workflows, and measurable outcomes.
- Own product-line adoption measurement and improvement across the Product Outcomes team, including defining adoption KPIs, identifying trends and gaps, and partnering cross-functionally to drive measurable improvement.
- Partner closely with Product leadership to help influence roadmap decisions through customer feedback, beta insights, adoption data, and outcome-based recommendations.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, PMM, Enablement, Solution Engineering, Customer Success, Support, Professional Services and Value Engineering to ensure product launches are set up for adoption and customer impact.
- Oversee beta program strategy for strategic launches, including customer selection, success criteria, feedback loops, risk management, and GA readiness.
- Identify patterns across customer use cases, product adoption challenges, feedback, and enablement gaps; turn those insights into scalable solutions.
- Establish clear measures of success for Product Outcomes work, including adoption, value realization, customer health, retention, and ARR influence.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy, proactively identifying gaps, prioritizing the highest-impact opportunities, and driving initiatives from strategy through execution.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in SaaS, technology, Product, Customer Success, Solutions Consulting, GTM Operations, or related functions.
- 3+ years of people management experience, with a track record of building, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
- Experience partnering closely with Product teams and influencing product strategy, roadmap priorities, or launch readiness.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and create structure, clarity, and momentum.
- Deep understanding of how product capabilities translate into customer jobs-to-be-done, workflows, adoption, and measurable business outcomes.
- Strong systems thinker with experience building scalable frameworks, operating models, or methodologies to solve complex business problems.
- Data-driven mindset with experience defining success metrics, analyzing adoption or usage trends, and turning insights into action.
- Strong understanding of revenue operations, sales workflows, customer success motions.
- Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to build credibility with Product, GTM, Customer teams, and senior leaders.
