Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Sales Development roles remain one of the clearest entry points into modern SaaS go to market, and this position sits inside an AI-first, enterprise-oriented product category where buying committees and use cases can be complex. With Synthesia positioned as a well-capitalised scale-up, the work is anchored in handling meaningful inbound demand while still requiring structured outbound account mapping, a common blend in later-stage SaaS teams.
For a SaaS career path, the value is in learning how pipeline is created before it reaches an Account Executive, and how marketing, sales tooling, and qualification standards connect. The remit touches multiple channels and prospecting systems, building fluency in CRM hygiene, sequencing, and handoff discipline that transfers across B2B subscription businesses. It also develops commercial instincts around prioritisation, messaging, and discovery in a quota environment.
This role tends to suit someone who enjoys repeatable process, high-volume communication, and measurable outcomes, while still wanting room to iterate on outreach approaches. It is a strong match for early-career sellers or career switchers who want a grounded view of how SaaS revenue teams operate day to day, particularly in an enterprise-focused setting.
